CONGRESSMAN BACHUS STATEMENT ON THURSDAY LEGISLATION IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
WASHINGTON – Congressman Spencer Bachus (AL-6) issued the following statement regarding the Democrat majority’s decision to put a politically-motivated partisan resolution before the urgent need of modernizing a critical intelligence law (the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act) that expires on Saturday. The FISA law allows the U.S. to track terrorists planning attacks on Americans in our country and elsewhere in the world.
"The House Democrat leadership’s decision to attempt to pursue a cheap political scam rather than deal with the nation’s security is nothing less than shameful."
